Financial Project Controller – About The Role
In this role you will be working within a medium sized finance team and will be reporting into the Financial Project Control Manager. You will be ensuring the effective financial control of various designated projects & bids. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Working closely with project managers to ensure financial objectives are met and to play a key role within the project decision making process.
- Regular review of project actual costs, commitments and forecasts with the project team.
- Providing required management accounting project data according to the reporting schedule of the business.
- Management of all customers financial reporting requirements & interaction with customers financial/reporting tools for both bids and projects.
- Work across functions to resolve queries, mitigate issues and ensure project data is of the highest quality.
- Operate as finance lead on bidding activities, involving reviewing & validating the bid costings.
- Assist bid managers with bid presentation pack preparation.
The successful Financial Project Controller will have:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Experience within a project-related environment
- Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- SAP experience is desirable
