Sales Support Administrator - About The Role
This role plays an integral part of in the success of the sales team as well as managing key customer relationships. You will be providing exceptional administration, customer service and after care to a wide audience and ensure that delivery is of the highest quality. You will have key relationships with Head of Departments and the wider internal teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and sales support to the Head of Sales, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day commercial activities.
- Maintain accurate customer, sales, and CRM data, producing regular sales reports and market analysis.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, managing enquiries relating to orders, pricing, product specifications, samples, and order progress.
- Liaise with internal operations teams to communicate customer requirements accurately, ensuring seamless order fulfilment and delivery.
- Support marketing initiatives, business development activities, and represent the business at trade and industry events.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a Sales Support role, with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs), Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience using CRM and ERP systems with confidence in managing and analysing data.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Be a proactive team player with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to travel within the UK and Europe when required (full driving licence desirable).
