Tax Apprentice – About The Role
Working alongside the firm's experienced tax team, you will gain practical exposure to a variety of personal and business tax matters while completing your ATT qualification.
You will learn how tax work is delivered in practice, develop your technical knowledge, and gradually take on more responsibility as your experience grows. The role provides a strong foundation for progressing onto CTA and developing a long-term career within tax. Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of personal and business tax returns
- Support the preparation of tax computations
- Assist with general tax compliance work
- Gain exposure to different areas of UK taxation
- Assist with client queries and correspondence
- Prepare supporting schedules and working papers
- Develop your understanding of tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Work closely with experienced members of the tax team
- Take on additional responsibilities as your knowledge develops
